For almost 12 years, The Niagara Home Builders’ Association has been granting scholarships to individuals entering into post-secondary education.
The Scholarship Program was established to recognize the importance of continuing educational studies beyond high school.
Since its conception, the NHBA has awarded over $38,000 to students pursuing a career within a variety of fields which have included, but not limited to; engineering, health sciences, teaching and business studies. This year, three (3) young individuals were awarded scholarships, each following a different career path.
The winners of the 2021 NHBA scholarship include:
Brooke Musgrave – Sponsored by Complete Plumbing, Brooke has been accepted to Brock University, where she will be working towards her BA in Psychology
Lauren Stoddart – Sponsored by Complete Plumbing, Lauren has selected to study Concurrent Education Intermediate/Senior at Brock University.
Sidney Toomer – Sponsored by Silvergate Homes, Sidney will attend Sheridan College where she has been accepted into the Make-up for Media & Creative Arts Program Awarded scholarship funds are typically raised through the Associations annual “Golf Classic” which is taking place this year on August 10, 2021 at Peninsula Lakes Golf Club in Fenwick.

Established in 1955, the Niagara Home Builders’ Association is a not-for-profit organization representing more than 130 member companies including: Builders, Developers, Renovators, Suppliers, Supplier/Trade Contractors, Manufacturers, and Allied Professionals.
