The NHBA has over a dozen committees made up of our members.
Getting involved is simple. Committee volunteer positions let you choose an area that aligns with your skill sets, with a minimal time commitment designed to work around your schedule. It’s also a great way to meet and connect with fellow members.
Awards of Excellence Committee Members
Responsible for planning, organizing, and executing the NHBA Awards of Excellence gala event which is held every two years.
Finance Committee Members
Working alongside staff to assist in setting the Associations financial strategies, as well as oversee annual budget review.
Golf Classic Committee Members
Responsible for planning, organizing and executing the NHBA annual Golf Classic event, which is held the first week of June.
Government Relations Committee Members
Act as a liaison with local municipalities regarding matters that have a direct impact on the residential home building industry and make informed recommendations to the Board of Directors.
Workplace Health & Safety Committee Members
Ensure all applicable health & safety information is coordinated and relayed to the NHBA membership in a timely manner.
Holiday Events Committee Members
Responsible for planning, organizing and executing the NHBA Holiday Dinner & Elimination draw which is held annually in December.
Marketing Committee Members
Develop annual marketing initiatives which promote the Association and its members, as well as assist in organizing and executing industry events.
Renovator/Renomark Committee Members
Responsible for promoting the RenoMark program value to renovators, trades and suppliers within the NHBA, as well as developing educational seminars related to renovations.
Scholarship Committee Members
To review and evaluate annual scholarship applications that are submitted to ensure they meet the proper criteria.
