NHBA ANNOUNCES 2026 BOARD OF DIRECTORS

OCTOBER 2025 – ST. CATHARINES, ON — The Niagara Home Builders’ Association welcomed their incoming 2026 Board of Directors during the Annual General Meeting held on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at the Holiday Inn Conference Centre in St. Catharines.

NHBA CEO, Chuck McShane addressed the audience, thanking the current Board for their dedication to the Association, and acknowledged outgoing Chair, Paul Savoia.

“Over the past two terms, Paul has led this Association with dedication, passion, and knowledge. Under his guidance, we have navigated challenges such as housing affordability, including lowering DC’s and meeting with various levels of government on how we can execute strategies to get our economy and industry back on track”, stated McShane.

The NHBA welcomes Kelly Anderson as incoming 2026 Chair, along with John Musso serving as Vice-Chair.

In her address to the membership, Anderson thanked her colleagues and friends for their support, and spoke about the term ahead.

“Thank you for placing your trust in me. It’s a privilege to follow in the footsteps of so many great leaders who have helped shape our industry. Our challenge is clear: deliver safe, attainable, high-quality homes while adapting to changing markets, materials, codes, and customer expectations.  That requires teamwork, skilled trades, innovation, and relentless focus on integrity.  We also need to focus on banding together to remove Red Tape within our industry – something that the Board and I promise to keep fighting for”.

Paul Savoia, who served as NHBA President for two consecutive terms will remain on the Board as past Chair, as well as serve on various internal committees.

The complete 2026 NHBA Board of Directors are as follows:

  7. Antony Candeloro – Centennial Homes Niagara
  8. Mark Carl – Habitat for Humanity Niagara
  9. Rick Coker – Reliance Home Comfort
  10. Sheryl L. Johnson – Sullivan Mahoney LLP
  11. Joe Katzman – Dufferin Concrete
  12. Dragan Radojcic– Meridian Credit Union
  13. Jon Whyte – Phelps Homes Ltd.

The newly elected Board, along with their Government Relations Committee, Members and partners look forward to focusing on their shared passion of promoting the Niagara Region; including building strong and sustainable communities, profiling the Region as a desired place to work and live and focusing on the housing affordability crisis.

The NHBA Board includes both Builder and Non-Builder representation, whose responsibilities include but are not limited to; ensuring the Association is in compliance regarding; legal obligations, acting within the scope of the organizations governing policies, rules and regulations that apply to the NHBA, understand and scrutinize all financial matters, attend and participate in board and committee meetings, participate in discussions/deliberations within the Board and promote membership of the Association.
